LeRoy Hutson - Wisdom Of My LIfe. 45rpm. 7-inch Vinyl

It is April 1977, LeRoy Hutson is in Lincoln Avenue, Chicago at the Curtom studios recording new music. Keeping those legendary creative juices flowing and preparing for the forthcoming “Closer To The Source” album.

There were a handful of recordings during that period, that have remained on the shelves, to never see the light of day, despite some efforts in recent years. Well, that is about to change, with all legalities straightened out and with Mr LeRoy Hutson’s blessings we are so very honoured and privileged to bring you………… “Wisdom of My Life”.

A beautiful floating mid-tempo dancer, and a masterclass in songwriting, which will surely see your audience singing at the top of their voices.
For the “Hutson Sevens” series, we bring to you two different 7-inch edits of the original 5 minute 50 second original recording, which will appear on an album at a later date.

The “A” side delivers a short intro version, which is perfect to drop in to the middle of a main DJ set to keep the dance floor moving.

The “AA” side has the original 38-second-long intro, but a shortened three-minute version of the song, which includes the fantastic female backing vocals as the outro.
The official release date of this first in the “Hutson Sevens” series is Monday 17th November, and due to a very busy period for 7-inch manufacturing, this will be the date that pre-ordered records will be sent out.
